Bringing
out the best in group interaction through expert moderation…
MEETING,
RETREAT, AND WORKSHOP FACILITATION
--OR FACILITATION TRAINING FOR YOUR STAFF
Do you have
an important meeting coming up that would greatly benefit
from having an external facilitator who is not associated
in any way with your organization?
GDI has achieved
recognition for our facilitation of high-level national
meetings on many topics, for example, privacy of medical
records, reconstructing the World Trade Center site,
and integrating science knowledge into school curricula.
Our strength
lies in being able to bring together a wide range of
perspectives and voices into a reasoned discussion.
Why
Bring in an Outside Facilitator?
Objectivity and neutrality are critical in making decisions that everyone in an organization can respect and abide by, even if they do not agree with the decisions 100%. An external facilitator can help meeting participants let go of their "pet projects" and perspectives--move out of their "silos"--and think in terms of the broader good as well as their individual well-being. Participants appreciate the even-handed facilitation of an outsider who has no stake in the outcome but who attends carefully to the process.
