Szabo, PhD ,
GDI Associate, is a leading sociologist in organizational
development and research. Dr. Szabo has directed
more than 68 research projects and has supervised
teams of up to seventeen research analysts. Her
experience in research, analysis, design, development,
and evaluation includes fifteen survey projects
involving over 400,000 survey respondents. Actions
implemented from these research projects resulted
in savings of approximately two million dollars
for clients. She has also conducted research,
analysis, design, development, evaluation, and
reports for dozens of focus groups. Results were
improvements to processes, forms, systems, and
survey design to solve real and immediate operational
problems.
As
an organizational development expert, Dr. Szabo's
facilitation, training, and systems integration
work has led to improvements in organizational
and/or individual performance as related to mission,
strategic goals, and mandates. Her primary clients
have been the Internal Revenue Service, American
Statistical Association, National Opinion Research
Center , National Center for Education Statistics,
Ernst & Young, Federal Mediation and Conciliation
Services, Defense Information Systems Agency,
Agency for Health Care Policy and Research (DHHS),
Department of Transportation, and Department of
Veterans Affairs. She recently conducted a major
GDI study of donors for the Rhode Island Blood
Center.
Dr.
Szabo has served in leadership positions with
the Los Angeles, Washington, DC, and national
offices of the American Society for Training and
Development.
